Thank you I will definitely look into sending it to them. Do you know if there is a quick test to see if it is truly the module or if it could be the ABS pump motor?

since you have already swapped modules...with ZERO system change ...i would suspect something OTHER than the module.
There is 1 thing witht he ABS pump assembly that can cause this result of HARD PEDAL....just not applying pressure to the caliper assemblies. Yes it is the PUMP valve assembly.
let me look around about testing the "dump" valve ..how to check.

Since you have a scan tool ....what codes are present?

When I changed the module it was actually a used module from a salvage yard with the thought that if I lined up the correct model numbers and obtained it from a truck with less miles, etc. that it would fix it.

The codes that I have are C1145, C1148 and C1155 which are mainly ABS sensors. These codes are off of a scan tool that I borrowed from my brother. I did scan them prior to this unit and did get a couple codes that I do not have a number for but there was a fluid dump and also I believe loss of power. I did check the fuses and ruled out the loss of power.

I was trying to figure everything out before I pulled the pump motor/assembly because everything I have read states that it is difficult to bleed that unit and you need a special scan tool to do that and trigger the ABS.

Yes, you'll need a scan tool that will activate the ABS module to pump the fluid through.

it's difficult to know where your at with this as your ABS is still not working and you swapped in parts of "unknown quality"
unplug the abs module at the HCU.
drive around the block
Do the brakes function correctly? (obviously NO ABS)
YES= work on abs codes (obviously you will need to plug it back in...drive the truck for it to self diagnose and through codes...clear them and repeat...now you have "clean codes to work with)
NO= then the ABS is not your BRAKE problem.

The reason i say this is if your ABS module is showing you codes....you gotta solve those before swapping out other "unknown" stuff. You are dealing with the CONTROL module...IT CONTROLS the ABS pump.....if it is NOT receiving input...not sure WHAT it's OUTPUT would be. ie dumping pressure...etc
