93 Cobra motor in 97 swb

Ive been nursing along this 4.2 for years and its finally given up the ghost. Ive always had mustangs in the past and wanted the same powertrain as my last one in my 97.
I could have gone the easy route and put in a 5.4 or 4.6 but that's too easy. I know there are threads started and never finished about putting a 302 in a 97 but I didn't want to necro an old thread to show how easy it is to do. Yes I know putting a carbed motor in my truck is not epa compliant etc, it will never work etc. comments will follow but this is just to prove its possible and easy to do. I didn't have to fab mounts or hack wiring harnesses to do it either. I will be adding pics as I go along. Motor is in the truck and Im installing the trans controller later this week. Im starting with this

Update....first motor had lost oil pressure and it turned out to be the mains. Replacement engine is in and running strong. Im ditching the carb and going with MSD Atomic conversion. Going to clean up some wiring and will be posting up pictures soon. Work has been chaotic and Im just now getting time to get back on it
