Do you have long tube headers on your truck?

Hello, I have a 2000 F150 4x2,auto trans,4.6 V8
I'm wanting have have headers installed on my truck. I have heard that long tube headers will increase more HP/TQ over shorty headers.
What all if any cat. converter work/exhaust work has to be modified to properly install long tube headers?

I'm hoping there are some of you who can speak factually about this. Thanks in advance!

Where do you live? If there is emissions test you can get legal shorty headers but not long. Changing that out every year would be a pain in the ***. Long tubes would require one cat on each side removed and O2's pulled out of your program with a custom tune and a bunch more exhaust work. If you choose shortys then get equal length bolt in like JBA's or I think Gibson and I'm sure there are more.
