Only 1, i contacted him and he just told me he sold me a 2000 model engine, will this work, he lied about what he sold me

ONE terminal???? We need a picture of that coil pack, PLEASE.

A 2000 engine should work.

If i can get one. Taking my .45 down there and gettin my money back, he lied and said it was a 96 4.6 with 90k miles, its a 2000 4.6 with god knows how many miles

None of this is worth putting yourself in jail for assault of that kind.

Safety

I brought it just incase, they are a bunch of druggies idk what they would do. But long story short, got my money back, motor turned out to be locked up

If you plan on keeping the truck for a long time, just get a Jasper reman if your engine is shot.

I'm really curious what that thing really was - if an engine has a single terminal coil on it, it has to have a distributor. The Ford 4.6 never had a distributor from day 1. ALL 4.6's had dual 4 terminal coils till they were replaced with coil on plug.

The last Ford V8's that had distributors were the pushrod 302, 351, and 460.

They lied to us and the motor turned out to be from a 2000 model 4.6

If that were the case, it would have had two 4 terminal coils or 8 coils, one on each plug with no spark plug wires. However, if it's locked up, this is immaterial.
