The FIRST thing you check is the battery voltage with the engine running! Please do so and post the result.

 

Make sure the the black plug is plugged in all the way on the top back of the alternator.
If it's not plugged in all the way the alternator won't ever turn on. If it is plugged in
correctly the next question would be if you have a voltage test meter??? If no you can
not properly test you electrical system with any accuracy.
