Cranks fine, won't start, second time in two months

I would just replace the pump. You also need to replace the strainer at the same time.

It is a lot cheaper to just replace the pump & sock, but something to remember, everything else in there is the same age with the same mileage, and all the electrical connections have all been subject to the same abuse as the failed pump.
I prefer to drop the tank and clean it all out & make sure you aren't putting a new pump into service in a tank lined inside with rust & algae.

Don't get this.. posted update but not showing.

So short version, new fuel pump and it's running fine..

Excellent! Congratulations! And thanks for letting us know.

When I had a similar problem, it was the relay that powers the PCM intermittently not working. The reason I didn't post this info earlier was it happened after your posts. So, you may want to change it out just in case. It cost less than $10.
