Trailer light inoprable right side

I am trying to hook up a trailer to my truck with new wiring. Unfortunately I am unable to get the right turn and stop lamp to come on while using a standard insert into the tow harness. I have checked the wiring in the rear and cannot find any breaks. I checked all the fuses and they are good. My problem is this:

I noticed on the power distribution box under the hood that fuses 19 and 20 use a 10 amp fuse. The only problem is number 19 does not have any kind of holder. Fuse 20 does have a holder. Am I missing something? Do I need fuse 19 in order to have the trailer used the stop light and right turn signals? Because it appears to me that there is no insert for use 19 in the power distribution box. Should I remove the Tire Distribution box to see if the fuse holder has dropped down inside? The running lights do turn on by the way on both left and right. This is turning into a big pain in the ***. Again I have a 2000 Ford F150 5.4 l engine. It comes with a factory tow package. Thanks for your input.

Are you using a 4 pin or a 7 pin?

Using a long jumper wire, check for continuity at the brake light wire and the trailer plug input. Use the continuity function of a multimeter to do this. I had a mouse chew through my left brake/turn light circuit in my trailer. The break was completely hidden and I had to partly dissemble the inside of the trailer to locate and fix it.

Your problem sounds like a broken wire in the trailer to me.

Yes, absolutely. No F19 - no rt side brake/turn signal.

Not a trailer wiring issue.

Is the power distribution box easy to fix? is there a guide or video?

Can I just splice 2 new wires by bypassing the trailer turn and stop wires and tapping into the wires that go to the rear right tail light?

I have no idea for either question.

Of course that can be done, just use waterproof connectors and an inline fuse. This does assume that the rest of the circuit is functional, you'd have to check it, preferably before committing to surgery.
