2000 Ford F-150 4.6L cranks, no start

So here's the fun stuff!! New member, but come here a lot to get info, VERY helpful site!
So I bought a 2000 ford F-150 S/C 4x4 with a 4.6L Romeo motor about a year ago, truck has 278,000 miles on it, but I only use it to haul trash and such and got it dirt cheap!
Couple months ago it started running VERY rough, but again only used occasionally so didn't bother with it until 1 day it died on me, no warning or weird noises just died when i pulled up to a stop light and had to have it towed. So my brother is a mechanic and I have worked on my share of cars and trucks (dad had his own shop) so had spark and fuel (new fuel pump and filter the month before) but was throwing a code for lean on bank 1 and ran a compression test and low compression on that side so figured had to be timing chain, it was a bad tensioner and the chain was very loose on that side Put new timing kit in put it all back together and now will not start, getting codes for MAF and miss fires on cylinders 1,4,5,7. Any thoughts or should I just rebuild the whole engine? Don't really want to, hoping maybe an easier route or at least something to try. Going to order new coil packs and plugs this weekend, other than that any suggestions on possible issues I may be overlooking.

How is the compression with the new chain? I think I would double check the chain installation for timing.

That is the Plan for the weekend, don't have time during the week with work and all. Going to do a compression test and recheck timing as well as new plugs and coils and see where it goes from there.
