Lost a bolt

So I was taking off my hood for my 1998 F150 and I didn't realize how heavy it was until I took off the last bolt off the hinges which flew away when the hood slid off the truck. Anyone know where I can buy one or atleast the size of it.

Take the same bolt from the other side down to a hardware store and match it up.

I keep an old cheapie metal detector around for things like this. I think I paid $10 for it at a garage sale and it's been a life saver. I've also swept the ground with a magnet and been able to retrieve last bolts, etc as long as they were steal.

I have lost a few bolts and screws and even a couple sockets that fell and ended up not being seen. You would think I would have learned my lesson and have atleast bought a magnet. I guess that will be another investment

1998 hood should be aluminum, not too heavy, just awkward demsinsions to hold by yourself
