F150 Guage lights completely stopped working

so the other day I went to go get gas in my truck. Earlier in the day my gauge lights worked. So I was surprised to find out that none of my gauge lights work. My seat belt and door ajar lights work it's just the lights that luminate the speed/RPM/gas/coolant temp/battery gauges. I would highly doubt they all went out and I have the book that says which fuse is which and I checked them and they are fine. I just have no idea why they would all not work. They worked earlier that day. Any advice/help?

My first stab in the dark would be did you turn them off at the headlight switch accidentally?
Did you test the fuses with a meter, or just pull them and look at them? It is not unheard of for a fuse to look ok, but when you test resistance discover that is actually no good.
I've made the same mistake myself, it was dark out and cold and I was in a hurry... went back out in the morning and what do you know the fuse was actually bad.
Also, did you test for power at the fuse holder?
That said, you left out what year/make/model your truck is. It's far easier to diagnose when these guys know more than FX4 and F150 as things change from year to year and from model to model.

You either turned the dimmer all the way down or the dimmer control is bad. Turn it up and down a few times.
