Can anyone explain to me why the 7.5in fabtech lift doesn't fit regular cab model trucks because I really wanna get it but I have a regular cab

I don't think there is a difference. It should work fine. The only time there would be a difference is on rear leaf springs. The lighter the truck the more lift, the heavier the truck less lift. the front suspension components are the same for all the 150 series trucks unless you have a 7700. I believe that kit uses a shackle and block for the rear so you should be fine.

Oh should've added that the truck is a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT with the 4.2 and 4R70W auto transmission regular cab
but it says the OE wheels part and that it doesn't fit regular models

Yeah I believe you need an 18 inch wheel. Is your truck 2wd?

If you plan on doing a 4wd conversion, why not save that money for the conversion. If you are going to lift the 2wd then make sure you get the upper control arms and the camber kit. The 3.5 inch spindle isn't whats gonna give you an issue, it's the 3 inch coil. With that much lift it, will shorten the life of the lower ball joint because of the angle. Good thing is you can use the fabtech 2wd upper control arms on the 4wd lift too. Another thing to think about is the shocks. The bilstein 5100's are a very good shock that will help control the unsprung weight of the larger tire and wheel combo.
