Often I go to start my truck and the anti theft light starts flashing and it will not start. Takes several minutes of turning key off and back on to get it to finally start. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

 

Incorrect section of the forum, perhaps a mod will put it in the correct one.

When it fails to start, observe your digital odometer display. Is it normal or not? If not, describe what it displays.

There are a number of things that can cause that particular symptom including multiple chipped-keys or tags on the key chain, an intermittent power-up sequence of the whole system or an intermittent key reading antenna. Need to check your key-chain first, use an alternate key, and report observations (above) to narrow down the possibilities.
