Cruise control is not working!
I read another thread on this issue and did the self test. I am excited that you can self test this stuff! I just bought this truck and assumed it was something to do with the trailer brake unit installed. All of the brake lights work fine. Checked all my fuses. The lights are working on the steering wheel.
The self test result was 3 flashes after pressing the final Set/Accel switch. I assumed it was the deactivation switch. Especially considering there was brake fluid seeping out and into the connection. The recall fix in-line fuse was good and all of the wiring looked fine. I was hoping that would have been problem solved. Called the dealership to check for outstanding recalls. This one was done in 05. Any ideas?
I was posting on another thread, but it seems dead. Thought I would make a new one. Here's the link though.

3 flashes is the master cylinder pressure switch circuit is open.
Either shunt around the switch for a test or test it for passing voltage through the switch and see if the (added) recall fuse is blown.
If you replace it, use a Ford replacement part only.
Under no circumstance should you leave it powered up if there is fluid leaking in the switch area.
Good look.
