When I put my steering wheel any lower than full-up position I cannot start the truck and all of the dashboard gauges go dead including the odometer. I started out when at the bottom setting and has progressed over time to only the top position working. Any ideas?

 

There is a harness plug right there if you take the trim off of the column. They have been known to come loose and cause the issue you are having. Make sure it is snapped together and give it a try. If it does not click together you can zip tie it to secure the connection.
