So I picked up an autodimming rearview mirror last time I was at the junkyard and got that all working.
This time we started looking at the visors. I wanted the secondary visor that you can pull down after the main one is off to the side.
I didn't see any F150s with it but nearly all of the Expys and Navs had them. The Expy one didn't fit, the secondary visor is part of the main visor, and the main visor screws were off by 90 degrees. However, the Navigator has a standalone setup, see below. We took it off and saw there was a slot and square holes with snap in metal pieces for the screws to thread into. We took the metal pieces as well (you'll need these!). We looked at all the F150s from 98-01 and they all had the holes ready to use.
So you have to cut a hole in your headliner first of all. Don't be scared. I can get you measurements if you want. I used a screwdriver to measure off reference locations in the donor truck. Cut slow until you find the slot or square holes and work from there. Pop the two metal pieces in the square holes stamped in the metal roof header. The slot in the header is filled by a tab on the mirror mount to align things. Screw it into place and you are done. It's all quite obvious once you pull the donor visors. Again, get those metal pop in thingys from the donor truck! They just pry out with a flathead.
Results are, well, it's just a bit too wide and interferes with the post on the right. It still works OK though. It kind of binds a bit as it moves, and will actually pop behind the post when you move it all the way down. You can see it in the pics.

Haven't done the passenger side yet, but both sides have them and I grabbed both.
I wish I had grabbed the post from the Nav, I have a feeling it is offset a bit. If you got both the main and secondary visor along with the post, I'm sure there'd be no interference. I didn't want to pay for the other visors. They were lighted however if you want that, but I see no wiring in my truck to make them work.
You could always just trim it if the interference bothered you, but I don't think it'd look good cut. If you got them re-upholstered then you could easily cut it down some first.

THANK YOU! for posting this. I test drove a vehicle with dual sun visors before I bought my F-150 and I loved them. They should be STANDARD in every vehicle sold in the south IMO. Ever since I bought my 150, I've wondered if there was any possible way to add them to it and from you message it's at least possible. One question: Do you have any idea if the 2010 style trucks have to necessary holes, etc?

Can you post pictures of "things" so that we make sure that we get the right parts? Also were you able to remove them from old vehicle without tearing up the head liner? Junk yards around here are dammed fussy about you damaging other items. I once got chewed out for cutting a plastic tie-wrap in order to get a wiring harness out! (not a factory or special tie-wrap, just a plain ordinary one.)
PSS. Just curious, what did you have to give for the two visors? I have NO idea of what they cost or what they're worth.

The two metal pieces snap into square holes stamped into the roof metal. They allow you to thread the two screws into them. Kinda like a "speed clip" but better. They are easily removable from the donor truck and you will not damage the headliner getting them out. They are only about 3/8" square and pry right out with a screwdriver. Once you take off the donor visor, you'll see what they look like. Put the two metal pieces and the mounting screws in your pocket just in case they try to make you pay for them. Pay for the visors.
The visors were $14 and change for both.
Dunno about the 2010's- you'd have to go and see what swaps between models like I did. Just swap them right in the yard to see if it fits. I'd imagine it's the same situation, the Expys and Navs have them and it's the same metal stamping under there. Too bad your junkyard is so ****- at ours you can do whatever you want to the cars to get a part out.
I think I could count on one hand the number of times I have spun the visor to the side window in my 30 plus years behind the wheel but I always wear sunglasses when daytime driving. A neat idea if you use it. I did not know a two visor system exhisted on any vehicle.

Flipped my visor to the side twice just this morning. I think a lot of it has to do with your eye color. Those with dark colored eyes have less issues with bright sunlight than those with green or blue eyes. What time and what direction you drive has a lot to do with it too. If you live east of work, you don't need visors- the sun is always at your back. If you live west of work, it's in your face all the way in and all the way home.
Lots of cars have double visors, some even have plastic pieces that extend from the end of the visors to block even more of the gaps. A lot also have the area above the rear view mirror totally blacked out so the gap between the visors won't have the nuclear ball shining through the gap.
I wasn't surprised the nicer Ford trucks had it, it's not a rare feature on nicer vehicles.
