11 years, 115K miles, truck's been good, gotta move on

Hey everyone.
Time to part ways with my '03 SCAB 4x4 XLT.
Didn't address the undercarriage when I should have.... Rust has taken over.
Rockers, radiator support are an issue, along with a few minor spots.
Had to make a decision... have the work done- estimated $3k, or invest in another vehicle.
I found a great deal, so gonna sell the truck (hopefully soon).

I'll try posting in the classifieds next week.
If anyone is interested in a truck and can handle / remove rust, this may be a good opportunity.

This place has been a great resource for information, fixing, and adding extras.
THANKS to everyone who has posted 'how to' articles and tips.

I looked in Ebay for older low mile cars, suv's (2007 to 2012). Found a bunch, but most were 1000 miles away or farther.
Then I stumbled upon a 2013 awd Subaru Impreza wagon cvt 'premium' level with only 10,450 miles for $15,500 in Craigslist.
I could not find any similar Imprezas with such low mileage come close to this price.
Couldn't pass it up.
Belonged to a nice 93 yr old lady who couldn't drive anymore.
Even has gear flippers on steering wheel. Adds a little feel of sportiness.
Had to drive 180 miles, but was worth it.
Drove it home today actually. Much lower fuel costs will be a blessing.
Became a statistic last summer, divorced, moved out, found a condo.
Didn't 'need' a truck anymore.
Rust in rockers and radiator support made the decision to look for a vehicle, opposed to paying $3k.
And then wait for something else to break.
Now to sell the truck.
Still got my '72 fastback though.. (my first car at that)
In my garage under my unit.
At least I still have one Ford, something to help feel like a guy.
Something to enjoy driving, and take my boy out for ice creams or cruise nights.
