OK I tried f150 forum and more for this problem.
This is what I have done.
I changed the multi switch, pig tail on the one for
the back lighting sense there were 3 wires pulled
out cause of the lash was broke on them.
I sprayed the plugs in the back with electrical cleaner.

I have juice to the plug in the back. But that is as far
as it goes.

So I assume the fuses are good.

I'm thinking ground. But can't locate it.
I read it's in front. Then I read it's in back.

My sister gave me this truck. I do thank her.

But now need help to get this fixed so I can
use it.

Now I have tail lights, but still no brake lights 4 ways
turn signals.
Like I stated if I put a tester inside the bulb socket
the tester will start to blink. So I'm getting power
back there. But they do not work.

 

I really need help on this one guys......

 

if the tester is working, ( tester is grounded to body) Then I would think you have a bad ground for the rear lights wiring??

 

Does the test light show everything is working? Then its a bad ground for sure. Does this truck have trailer plug in the back and is it factory or an add on? May have rotten wire under some tape if not factory?? let me know wha tya find.

 

It does have factory trailer harness. I have all the rapping off. Everything looks clean and solid. All functions work with light tester in the socket.
I'm off to take my wife to dialysis now (the reason I need this truck fixed so some one from family can use the car) is the reason I need this fixed like right away.

OK just got back from dialysis and checked the ground from motor side of the plug before the towing harness in back to the bulb socket and it shows contact. But now everything works. ????????????
That almost worse then not working. Don't know what I did to fix it.

 

I marked it solved cause it ha to been bad ground wire up towards the driver side plug.
