Please Help!!

I have a 1999 Ford F-150 when I was trying to close the back window it broke and now my truck won't start. When I put the key in the lights flash and the truck cranks but won't turn over. What can I do? I don't have money to take it to a dealership.

Check the fuel pressure for starters.

Which lights flash? Do you have an aftermarket alarm system? Is the THEFT light flashing rapidly when you are trying to start it?

How does it crank but not turn over? That's one and the same - you mean it cranks/turns over but does not fire/start?

Forbes, I moved your thread out of the aftermarket programmer section and into the forum devoted to your model year truck. You will probably get better responses here.

In the meantime, your answers to glc's questions would likely help us help you and, I'll ask this - Do you have an aftermarket alarm system or remote starter installed?

It doesn't seem reasonable that a broken rear window would have anything to do with starting your truck. Did you do anything else to the truck it after the window broke?

Yes. I mean it will crank but won't start. I drove the truck 15 minutes prior to the back window breaking and everything was fine. After the window broke is when the theft light started blinking really fast and I couldn't start the truck.

I have tried turning the truck power on and leaving it on for 30 min. Taking the key out and trying to crank it again. I read online that it was suppose to reset the system and it didn't work.

Thank you guys for replying!

Also,

The Ant-theft system on the truck is stock. Nothing is aftermarket on it.

You have a PATS issue if the THEFT light is rapidly blinking. Try your other key (you DO have one, right?). If not, get it towed to the dealer.
