Cb Set up???

I am a licensed Amateur Radio op and run Ham radio in my 02.
I built a custom mount from 1" square tubing.
It is in a TEE form bolted to the stationary seat frame brackets.
Comes up at a sleight forward angle then vertical.
There are 2 adjustable side bars that provide mount for 2 different radios just above seat level.
The compound angles are adjusted to face the radios to the driver.
The installation is made to clear the seat movement forward and back and still clear all dash dial control functions and even the cup holder access is free to work without interference..
Separate power comes through the fire wall from a 30 amp fused battery source to an alternator filter with a connector strip to hook radio supplies to.
My power levels are in the 100 watt class.
The DC feed has to be #10 wire from the battery to an alternator filter because up to 20 amps is drawn on voice peaks in Single Side Band mode.
2 meter antenna is mag mount.
HF radio antenna is mounted on the trailer hitch draw bar, is tilt-over and quick removal with slide lock pins for tail gate drop access and can even tow trailer with antenna in place.
I know without photos it's hard to visualize but that's the way I do it and proven to be hardy.
When this truck is no longer owned, all the hardware is removable without
obvious signs or installation holes and markup.
Good luck.
