2000 F-150Headlight replacement Help

I have a 2000 F-150 that I am trying to replace the dull headlight assembly with new ones.

I am having trouble getting the grill off to have access to the assembly.

I have most the fasteners and such removed from the top and bottom of grill.

And I am getting hung up of the sides of the grill just past the turn signal assembly.

What am I missing?

Any Suggestions welcome

Found it...
And I now know I didn't have to remove the thing in the first place to replase the headlight assembly.

Until you find the slider clips are completely stuck.

How do they go at night? Heaps better? Do you have a link to you new ones or what ebay store were they from?

Not too tough to find: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...ights&_sacat=0

My set came with bulbs, but replaced with some retina melters from Sylvania.

Hey.

Lighting performance is marginally better, appearance is vastly better.

But - their true value is, they facilitate going to the next level - a retrofit (which requires clear lenses).

OEO / Visteon (unobtainium) much preferred. The fleabay versions are 'okay' - but may require resealing and fitment isn't the greatest. And their UV coatings range from adequate to non-existent.
