OEO / Visteon (unobtainium) much preferred. The fleabay versions are 'okay' - but may require resealing and fitment isn't the greatest. And their UV coatings range from adequate to non-existent.

I luckily have a spare set of Visteon head in my possession

They are not unobtainable as I have seen a few places still selling them. The problem is they are selling for a premium for the OEM Visteon Ford part ones. Last set I saw recently was 500 plus through Tasca

I suppose I should have qualified my post to suggest that the premium price may make it 'unobtainium' with respect to some budgets

This is so true and I actually knew what you meant in your post . They are like gold these day and priced accordingly sadly. I was lucky enough to find another set when I had some truck repainting done year or so ago for a good price. I bought my orig. new ones in 2001 and paid way less for the heads and the turns from Ford when I got them then the price for heads now.
