I have a 2001 F150 4.2L XL RWD. I have 140K miles on it and I want to replace (original) the water pump. Has anyone had any problems doing this on a 4.2L engine like breaking studs or bolts, or any other problems that are known on these engines. The metal heat tube on top of the pump is very rusted, so I am going to replace that also. I just want to make sure there is nothing special I need to know. I have electric radiator fans, so I don't have a clutch fan to worry about removing. Thank you.
