I sold off my 1995 SC400 and my favorite car ever - the 1995 SC300 Turbo last night. It was heartbreaking, but now there is a space in the garage to rumble those 14" wide rear tires into.

Whoa You always talked about that SC300 turbo.
But, in the end, that was a silly little Japanese car and now you have a Viper
No... It takes forever to ship a car across the country apparently. Also, I had initially told the shipper not to pick the car up until 12/10 because I was supposed to be on a business trip that week and I want to be home when the car arrives. My trip was postponed until January and I called the shipper to let them know, but it hasn't even been picked up yet. All the shippers say they will pick up the car within a week of the deposit, unless you want to pay a $200 to $400 premium to get it sooner. Then it's about 500 miles per day. Sigh...
I already bought this awesome sticker for it too!

Car is supposed to be picked up in New York today and in my driveway in a week or less. I'm on vacation Christmas week, so it will be getting heated seats (for the wife) and an alarm with door poppers so I can drive it to retail establishments.
500 miles a day? Shoot. I would've bought a one-way ticket and driven that thing on the ultimate cross-country roadtrip.
I had seriously considered that, but I was supposed to be on a business trip last week. The trip was cancelled, but I had already put a deposit down on a shipper. I have to admit, I am a little afraid to drive it in the snow as well.
Anyway, I spoke to the shipper this morning and it should be here tomorrow.
It showed up at 9:45 AM yesterday. Poor little guy was really dirty from the trip!
After I cleaned him up and got that horrid blue off the wheels, it looks AWESOME! I love it. We instantly bonded. It's so responsive and SOOOO much torque - for a NA. You mash the gas and it just GOES. I think the Lexus would be about a half second behind it in the quarter mile, but the Viper gets the fun factor in every gear. It corners amazingly too.
