need help

I have a 2001 f150 with the 4.6 with 181,xxx miles. my truck drives fine when the engine is cold. and when driving 60-65mph the truck skips a little then when idling the truck hesitates and acts like it is going to stall. I had the spark plugs changed, fuel filter, IAC. I had the throttle body ported and polished and intake elbow. before I had that done the throttle body was full of carbon and I never changed the egr and was wondering if that could cause it. I don't have any engine codes or light

Might be time for one or more cops. Wouldn't hurt to pull the EGR valve and clean it.

I took the egr off today and it was clogged up with carbon and cleaned it and seems to do better
