Rim and Tire Help

I have a 2wd 2002 lariat supercrew and i just got some 17x8.5 with -6 offset rims. could i run a 285-70-r17 with no scrubbing at stock height?

Doubtful. At the very least you'd need to trim the valence and the corner of the inner fender well behind the tire. A 1.5-2" leveling kit would be enough to clear them however. A 3-3.5" spindle lift or 3" lift coils with aftermarket control arms would definitely be enough.

I run 28575r16 with no problems.. I think if you went 28575r17 you would be good fort sure but i dunno if bigger will fit.

Is your truck stock 2wd?

I had to trim my valence on mine with the 3 inch spindle lift to fit 285/70/17's on the factory wheels
