1997 Ford F150 V6 4.2L Stuck in park

I know this has been discussed before several times but I am still having problems. I have replaced the brake switch and the shift lock actuator and I have checked every fuse I could find inside and under the hood. I have a 2 wheel drive 1997 Ford F150 with a V6 4.2L engine and it is still stuck in park and I have no brake lights. I can use the bypass to get it in gear but I do delivery for work and I need my brake lights. This is also my only vehicle, ( I am a poor man). Need more ideas please.

Check (SPECIFICALLY) fuse F13, the rest do not matter for the brake lights. See owner's manual.

If F13 is good, check the wires in the first several inches from the brake light switch. They sometimes break inside the insulation and you really can't see the fault.

If that doesn't do it check the wires at the 4 pin trailer connector, if you drug the backend you can damage those wires and have the same issue.

I have had this several times. First time pretty much did assembled the whole car. To find out is was the brake light fuse
Last time is was my trailer plug wires touching.
The simplest things can sometimea be the most frustrating
