compass and temp guage

I have a 2001 ford SCrew XLT and in the interior of the truck on the overhead I have the screen for the compass and temperature but it doesn't come on. Ive looked in the manual and it shows I have it but when I look for a fuse in the manual I cant find it. Anyone got solutions or know a more scientific name for it?

If you were local to DFW I'd offer to help you out.

start by cycling the button just to make sure its not turned off, but more than likely it needs to be resoldered

Ya theres a large black button above the display on the console. It's pictured in the beginning of my thread linked above

I have the same problem on my 01 Lariat...wondering how to fix it...I hasn't worked in 100,000 miles so I guess I'm not to concerned, but it would be great to fix it
