Front bearing torque??

Curious to know what the front wheel bearing but should be torqed to???
I just pulled my front rotors and the bearing nuts were just over hand tight. Once the cotter pins came out i hand turned the nuts off with just a socket!!!!
There is some scoring on the spindles. Its not really bad but I would like your thoughts. I also noticed the outer bearing seems to have tapered rollers on both sides of the truck. I don't know if this is right having not seen a replacement close up. I should point out, I have the 97 7 bolt hubs.
I will have pics up later.

You can treat almost all 2WD front bearings the same way. The final torque will be around 20 in/lbs. Don't forget to seat the bearing first.
