Keyless Entry Code

Hello all... Noob here. I've just bought a 2001 4x2 Screw Lariat with the 5.4l. I've done some searching but can't really find anything. Where would I look to figure out what the factory keyless entry code is? Can the stealership tell me what it is? I've heard that sometimes there's a sticker somewhere in the truck with the code on it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Jay

There should be a sticker or something with the code on the module. In my truck, you could see it if you stuck your head where the pedals were and looked up.

The body control module is down behind the passenger side hick panel on your year. There child be a label attached to it.

Bluejay the 04+ trucks moved to the back wall, behind the seat

The 10th Gen 97-03 is up about knee height above the pedals. It's a square black box about 4x4" it's on the KVM (keyless vehicle module)

I thought he had a 2001, thought they are behind the kick panel. Was there some year that was there?

On my old 2000 the fuel pump reset switch was what was behind the passenger side kick panel. My factory code was printed deep in the bowels of the dashboard.
