Ive had my 285/70r17 terra grapplers for over a year now? Memory is going bad
I drive about 25k a year. 95% highway and city pavement. Some gravel roads, Some off road.
Rotated when supposed to. 25k ish miles on them

Tires are about 40-42 percent and evenly worn. Still as quiet as the day I got them.
Traction: Great on ice, ice pack and snow with exceptions.
Mud and dirt traction: good for an all terrain

They did get me through some nasty stuff during hunting season. One area had ruts full of mud near 2' deep or so. Drug the bottom of the truck through a 40' section with cross ruts. Made it there and back no problem. Lots of very steeply inclined washed out roads overgrown with trees and obstacles. Never really seemed to have a traction issue. Then again the great 4x4 system with the LS is mostly to credit for a lot of that kind of traversing nasty roads.

Great all around tire. Will probably buy them again if the price is right.

love the comparisons

Was that 265/70R17 on the truck in the comparison photo? I'm looking at changing from 265/70/17 to 285/70/17 myself. I have 2003 Fx4...https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...fx4-lariat.jpg
