Roughly 2" higher if wheels and tires are the same among other things.

Wheels and tires, which I have sitting in storage, were $2800 haha. Basic 6" Fabtech lift, 5" Fabtech rear blocks (because it comes with gay 2" blocks), and labor came out to that $2700.

Yeah, about 2" for 04+ and I think it's even more of a gap for the 97-03s. That's why I need the 6" lift plus the 2" AS level to get where a 4x4 would sit with 6".

Kmac I feel you. I just made an awesome discovery though. Instead of getting the 5.5 I'm getting the 1.5inch leveling coil spring by rough country and their 3 inch spindle with their good shocks, and a 3 inch after market rear block for $565. So I'm getting all reliable parts with great reviews for roughly $30 more. And it will still look nice with 33s! And by the way I got a 4x4 valence put on my truck with fogs, and I got a set of 20 inch panther wheels with an expedition my dad bought for $200. So I'm no longer having to buy wheels!

Dang, you lucked out big time with all that! Congrats on snagging bigger wheels for next to nothing.

Thanks K-Mac! I just wish money wasn't an issue 🙈 I just feel like its a never ending journey of saving money. It could be the $9/hr or the gas or my girlfriend that makes it never ending but who knows
Quick question, so a 4x4 sits two inches higher so a 4x4 with a body lift would be the same as a 4x2 with a 2 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch BL would be the same height? If both ran 35x12.50s?

Yup, pretty close to the same height give or take about .5" all things equal. But cab configuration, wheels, and how hard the truck has been used can come into play when comparing.

I think we're all in that position! I know I'd be missing another $1k or so if I'd had a girlfriend for the last year haha. I worked every second I possibly could this summer, got lucky with paying less than I thought for my truck when I bought it from my parents, and punched pennies like crazy just to be able to do this.

Roughly, yeah. Just to show that it depends, and that 97-03 and 04-08 are different, my buddy's 03 2WD lariat screw with 2" springs and a 3" BL is exactly the same height (ground to fender) as mine. His tires make his .5" lower, all other things constant. I'd expect yours to look like a 4x4 with a 3" BL.

Yea you can use them together. The 1.5" will give you better angles though whereas the 2" will put you pretty much at the limit.

Thanks pizza. So I just tried to get those expedition wheels onto my truck and found out that its a 2003 which has the 6x135 and not the 5x135 lug pattern. So I'm doing some homework on adapters now but with the spindle and an adapter I don't know how comfortable I'll be..
EDIT: Well I am selling the wheels and tires. Wheel spacers will not fit unless they are 1.5-2 inches. I'll be selling 4 20 inch chrome Panther wheels 5 lug 6x135mm pattern along with 4 285/50/20 good year tires on the wheels. And 3 295/50/20 hankook tires new. And finally 4 17 inch chrome 2000 f150 lariat wheels. Back to having to buy new wheels for me

That's not possible (the 6 in 6x135 stands for 6 lugs) haha. Your bolt pattern is 5x135 so I wonder what those are if they are indeed 5 luggers.

Sucks to hear that you need to wheels though, man. That was such a steal for you.

I did get my truck done though:

Well it has 5 lugs on it. So I'm guessing its 5x137. But your truck looks awesome Kman. Seriously its beautiful. So happy for you. How's the ride and mpg?

Hey guys I have another question. The expedition we bought has a brand new Si/do exhaust system on it. I was wondering if there was anyone I could put that system on my truck. Expedition is a 5.4 and mine is a 4.6 but I don't think that matters...?

They're probably 5x5.5" if they're 5 lug and just barely off from the 5x135mm needed.

Hmm I'm guessing 5x5.5" too. Thanks! I love driving it and staring at it haha.

The ride isn't that bad, but it shakes my steering wheel more than I'd like. Not sure if something is out of balance, but I don't think so because on really nice, fresh/new roads it hardly shakes at all. So I think it's the fault of the 10 ply tires. I should've lifted it with my old wheels and tires first, then added these so I know what all contributes to what. If nothing is wrong, then I'm fine, but I a little concerned that there's an issue.

MPG is surprisingly not bad yet. I normally got about 12 without the lift, and now I've gotten 13.0 and 12.6 on two tanks with the correct speedo. Those both had tons of highway though. I need gears, but I can't find a reputable place to do them. Drive train specialist shop wanted to "overhaul" part of the axle along with gears because of my high mileage for $1350, which I think is too high, and an offroad shop quoted me $1050, but I don't think they're replacing all the parts that the specialist is, so . . . yeah.

If it's a cat-back kit, worst you can do is take it off and mock it up on your truck. Most cat-back are bolt-on with little modification. I had to cut a pipe to shorten, making a bolt-on reversal impossible.
