hotchkis rear shocks for 97-03 , Question..

my shocks just arrived yesterday and it seems they reversed the design of the shock

my ground force shocks have the shock body at the bottom with the round part the bolt goes through at the bottom of the body and the stud like end at the top on the end of the rod

but the hotchkis set have the body at the top with the stud mount on it and the round end the bolt goes through at the end of the rod comeing out the bottom of the shock body

I hope this reads ok without a pic

anyway , question is , is this right or have I somehow ended up with the wrong set of rear shocks ?

these are their set for lowered trucks

Usually, gas shocks can be mounted in any orientation. If your shocks are the correct length and the bolt patterns are correct, I don't see why you'd have a problem.

they appear to be - I just wanna be more sure they're right before I roll em around on the driveway , scrape em up a bit trying to install them and find out they're wrong and can't return them if so

eah they were a little to spendy for that to be happening lol
