Anyone have the lighting behind their climate control unit stop working? Its been like this for years i hjust have where all the setting are memorized but it would be nice to have them light back up.

Yes. I just soldered a new bulb in. I have ETAC.

I've considered LED's for the longest time.

Mine went out a while ago. I have no plans to fix it being the center (temp control) **** is so stiff it continues to brake new *****. So I will just replace it when I can with a junk yard replacement someday.

Since you have an XLT, you probably have manual AC that uses the kn0bs rather than EATC. I believe from doing the change out myself, the AC panel uses a pair of "161" bulbs.

Just don't undo the passenger airbag switch harness. You'll be staring at an airbag light on the dash if you do so and pulling battery cables won't reset that.

(You'll wonder why you waited so long to do this...)
