Can anyone post up a photo of where the passenger side a pillar meets the dash? I think mine is too much but don't remember what stock looked like before I gutted the interior out.

That is correct. There is about 1/2" gap there.

One time when I was selling my last F150 the buyer had asked me if the truck had ever been in an accident because of that gap. I said no, that is normal.

 

Thanks for the reply. Having never really looked at it before and didn't look at it before the dash and everything came out I wasn't sure if that was right.

It fits against the dash a whole lot better when the handle isn't attached
