PCV elbow

Another pcv elbow gone. Not sure why they keep collapsing. The last one I put on there was an all but new spare I had laying around. It is now collapsed and needs replaced.

Rock auto lists a dorman part. So I went to the auto parts store knowing they carry dorman parts and found the elbow (46017). Everything fit but it is about 3/4" shorter on the connection to the hard line. I pulled/stretched the hard line to fit and because of the tension it pulls on the pcv valve making it lean. Looks like it would just pull off over time so that is not going to work.

Other than paying $46 at the dealer for a whole new line with elbow... any suggestions? Maybe another part number I'm not seeing for a longer elbow?

Can't really extend the hard line. Thought about a barbed coupling and small piece of hose to extend it but at minimum that would add 2" so that wont work.
