Whats going on guys i have a 98 F150 and looking to put a hidden winch on my truck i know warn makes a mounting plate but is the any cheaper options than them and than can i get any winch for that plate?? Im looking for the cheapest set up i can kinda get thats decent thanks for your help!!!

Cheapest one I know of. As long as the winch has the same spacing on the mounting bolts, which almost all do, you can use whatever brand you want. I have the Warn mount and a Smittybilt 8k winch.

 

I have been beating the crap out of my Harbor Freight winch and I have not had any issues with it.

It's on sale for $300 right now. Seriously, research this thing. It's a gem. Pair it up with the wireless remote - it's well worth the extra $30.
