inline 6 vs 5.4
inline 6 vs 5.4
Okay. So a buddy of mine has a 300 inline 6 and claims it will out pull my 97 5.4 in a "tug of war". I dont know to much about the inline 6, but I know theyre a really good motor. Which one do yall think will out pull the other?
Thats a tuff one. I think the 5.4 should win all day motor to motor wise. But pulling is more than what motor you have. You have weight of the truck, traction ect.. Im not sure if either of your trucks are lifted but the higher you sit the further you go backwards IMO.
Line 'em up and find out!
You have more power at the crank, but unless you've regeared your pumpkins, I'd probably bet on him. 3.55s (or 3.73s) with 35" tires don't put a whole lot of power to the ground.

Way too many variables to answer that question. You could have better traction and more power but still lose due to skill, pavement surface, air pressure, temperature, gear ratio, trolls, lightning, unicorn interference, or divine intervention.

Im really worried about the unicorns. Thats serious crap right there lol
I had to make a rat-trap tow car for an engineering project and ours straight DRUG another car and overpowered it so much that it's trap's arm didn't let go until ours had drug it all the way out of the arena and finished. The other car then proceeded to pull our rollin' chassis back over the line - and we lost cause college people don't know how real tug-o-war works.
All these silly people knew nothing about gearing the car so mine was awesome

So let him lose traction and then drag his ***
