Original spark plugs

I pulled #5 due to a misfire code ( print out at Auto zone.) , engine was running rough at acceleration and cruise.
Now the Spark plug pulled looked like an original from the factory... maybe. It had a WW along with the #'s and Baby blue rings. I had paid for a tune up awhile back 30,000 miles or so ago. This plug was soot grey at the electrode with minimal "bare" metal to spark on (OLD). Are factory Plugs identified differently than service plugs.?

170,000

2. my passenger window won't go down.

3. electric locks are weak to lift-unlock.

Thanks for you relevant time.

The original plugs in my 97 5.4 had "Motorcraft" stamped on them. I replaced them at about 65,000 miles with another brand that went over 180,000 miles, but I replaced them with Motorcrafts the last time around (about a year ago) when the truck had around 240,000 miles on it. (I don't have that truck anymore..)

The original MC's looked like they still had some life to them, but the gaps where huge on them..

Hope that helps?

Mitch

Could be the same plug that came in it stock and there would be no difference. If the plug looks good your missfire is most likely due to a bad coil. They do go out. You might have a bad switch a relay or a bad motor in your window. The locks are the actuators and they are a drag to replace. Cheap part but you gotta take the whole latch apart to replace them.

What is this?

Decided to do a full plug pull tonight. This is what Jumped out at me. Anyone know what this is. see PIC

The spring on the "stock" Motorcraft coli is shorter and has this spacer inserted into the spring. the copper pin broke when I was cleaning it, the spring on the coil pack I pulled(which I thought was stock) is shorter than Then One I just picked up from advance. New coil installed trk runns worse stutter stutter.

any have any idea what this coil contact is?
