All
Yesterday my truck ended its life. Some old lady ran a red. It bent the frame and took out the drivers front side. Ill post pictures when I get a chance to. Its been great here. There is 6 trucks 4 F150s and 2 F250s. I hope I can get a good bit of money.

Sorry to hear about your truck. I would use the insurance money to get me a brand new F-150. At least that's the only way I'll be getting rid of mine!

You don't need a truck to hang around . . .

But I hope both of you were okay. Sorry to hear it.

Thanks all
Ya a lil sore. But had worst. Just more pissed about my truck. I take care of my vehicles and just had the trans done. Hope I don't have to fight with the insurance. Im not a new truck person, I have always liked the style of the 97-03s. There is four nice 03s a Heritage, 2 crew cabs and a FX4. And have looked at a couple 250s. I want to stay with the 5.4. One thing about the Heritage its jacked up with 285s, but no cap. So if I did get a 03 its finding a cap. Need one for the outdoor stuff and dogs.

Sorry about your truck, hope you weren't hurt. But you know if you were in that 64 ton beast you would never have felt her.

Thanks, just a headache for the last couple of days. The old lady had a 2012 caravan was more worried about T Boneing them and killing someone. At first I thought it was some mom with kids in the back. I know if anything would have been worst Id be sick. Have 6 grand kids and what if it was them in there. Had about a second to decide, so took out the front of hers and mine. That's why the frame bend, she also kept driving and hit a building.
If things work out well, hope to be able to pickup one of the ones I was looking at, or a newer one. Not over a 08. I find the new ones low for the trails.
And yes Ive seen a Leopard drive over a car, wasn't good. The worst was my mishap in the sand box that send my Surv operator home.

If that happened to me and new were not an option I would search high and low for a 2003 F150. Best currant used model year I think. Not enough is known about the latest generation of engine but there are things about them that scare me. Complex transmissions and all. I dont think much of the 04-10 engines except if you went 4.6 there good.

Sorry to hear about the wreck...trust all are OK.

Just a FYI...you don't have to settle with the 1st offer the insurance coughs up. Press them for a better offer. Explain that you had recent tranny work, above average care, etc.

The price is relatively high, but I like that white 2003 Screw.

Trucks must hold their value better up there. I like the first one the best, but it's got a lot of miles. I think the white 03 is expensive and the decals definitely need to be removed lol
