98 F150 6 cyl automatic trans will not turn over

I apologize, this subject has been beat to death. I've read a several threads and can't seem to figure it out. Some say to check this or that but don't say how.

I dropped this truck for shipping to the Bahamas running fine. When it arrived the shipper handed me a paper clip to jump the solenoid....

I've replaced the solenoid and key switch, all fuses are good. Starter is good, cranks over and starts immediately when I jump the solenoid. New battery before shipment.

I get NO click from the solenoid when I turn the key.

I removed trans DTR sensor. Someone said to clean it but there's nothing to clean, it's sealed. I made sure the neutral lined up and put it back on. Someone also said to put it in neutral to see if it turn over. It doesn't. They did not say if that meant the sensor was good or bad. I'll replace the DTR senor regardless once I get back to the states to pick one up.

For now I installed a momentary toggle switch in the cab that runs between the S terminal and hot side of the solenoid. I turn the key on and hit the toggle switch. Works good but I'd rather fix it properly. Any suggestions?

The ignition switch start position connects battery through the DTR to the start solenoid.
This circuit is open between the ignition switch and the DTR. If neither park or neutral fails to pass battery to the start solenoid, there will be no cranking..
Voltmeter to check it!
Ignition switch?
Wire harness?
Plug on the ignition switch?
Good luck.

Check fuse F21 in the under-dash fuse box. If it blows, the starter relay does not receive the key switch START signal.
