starter run on

sometimes my starter keeps running after a start
is it the key sticking in a position or is some relay doing it
only happened a few times.

Could be the starter relay on the firewall sticking.

It could be either mentioned above. It can fool yuh tho. Last F150 I worked on it ended up being the starters (piggy-back solenoid). Cheesed me off, because the starter tested good as did everything else. A starter stick ISN'T something you just let go, - you'll screw the ring gear quickly, and it's fun replacing those lol.

Problem was intermittent and hard to pin down. Purchased a new starter, problem solved.

Just keep in mind, the prob can be at the starter (piggy-back Sol)
