^ That's a good price, considering any shop is going to rape you for $500-$600 for one if you have them install it, plus labor. Which is another $500-$600.

Ask me how I know.

The best gaskets will be from the dealer unfortunately, but they're not that bad on price.

Reason why, Felpro has year specific gaskets BUT, - they're not specific to Ford spec revisions per model year. In other words, Fords revised gaskets have a improved sealing barrier over the original OEM's , which were not quite right and problematic. The new gaskets are thickened in the right spots/ passenger side.

Also when you place the new gaskets, make sure the heads are cleaned with lacquer thinner and completely dry. I run a palm sander over the heads first (w/fine SP), then clean the surface. Fill in any surface pits around the water jackets, if you have such. Don't touch the silicon on the gaskets or heads after before gasket placement (needs to be oil free or they can leak).

Tight the manifold in stages, - make sure you have the proper sequence before torque down.
