huge mistakes.....crankshaft pulley throttle position gear

While replacing oil dipstick tube......I accidently broke the the throttle position gear pointer which is mounted on the backside of the crank pulley/harmonic balancer. I tried jb weld and it would not bond....how difficult is it to remove this gear? Can I just pull the pulley and balancer...and unscrew the old gear...or should I attempt to retry jb weld ...after some filing? I can find little information on this....seems to me the pulley and harmonizer should fit only one way on the end of the crankshaft...and although time consuming.......can it be fixed relatively easy? and I know this will not be as easy as I am guessing..Any suggstions?

Yes........I found it but am wondering, crankshaft pulley with harmonizer, looks like one piece...if the gear can be ordered.....or maybe jbweld it back together.....what do you think.....assembly runs around $100....and expensive mistake....what happens when you are working in the near dark....with no help after dropping differential and axles........approximately 2o bolts that needed to "breaker barred" and fought me tooth and nail........all because of a 2o dollar dipstick tube. I am wondering if this pulley was used on all this model of ford f series in whaterever this years series ran....junkyard perhps?

Nah, all you do is copy and paste the URL. To move one within the forum. Hit quote on my post with the picture and just copy IMG URL and paste into your reply.
