Hey im new around and looking for some help. Just had my truck in the shop and they said the freeze plug in between engine and trans is leaking, is there a freeze plug in between the engine and trans? They want like $600 to change it, I know i can do it myself, I would just like to know that there is one there. Can anyone tell me the locations of the freeze plugs on these trucks? 2002 F150 Sport 5.4L Auto trans. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Usually freeze plugs are on the side of engine,, between the headers. Could be the heater core lines leaking.

 

There are two freeze out plugs on the back of the engine between the trans and motor.
