Haha that might be the sound I'm looking for, right now in the cab its a good rumble and I like the way it sounds but if I'm outside the truck it doesn't sound very "pay attention to me". And the reason I ask is because I'm debating on doing a DIDO or just do true duals each with a SISO muffler.

Make sure you get a X-pipe, With the exhaust running down the passenger side the drivers side exhaust is longer. The X-pipe will help with savaging which helps in that rap up and smooth out the engine in a true dual set up. Mustangs have a H pipe which is good but the X is better.

Would you recommend the muffler with the built in x pipe or get a straight through DIDO and an x pipe?

x pipe with the small body mufflers. I think they are 9 inch
If you want it real throaty and loud look at the magna paks.
You could even get something like mine and move the tips to where you want them.
My set up is OBX-r for a 97-03 lightning. I got it at sparktek for 319.00

I know its hard to describe sounds but what do you mean by throaty? The way I want my exhaust is a deep growl that barks on start up, nothing too loud that annoys the neighbors every time I leave for school in the morning that wakes them up, just something to get their attention when I'm coming. My brother's dodge is true duals with just the cats and the neighbors joke that they don't need an alarm any more, he just tells them when its time to get up.

Why worry about waking the neighbors up? Being considerate is out of style now!

I'm sure mine pisses my neighbors off

O no the neighbors joke about it but they don't care at all, their son has a chevy that's just as loud as my brother's dodge. He works 3rd shift so he comes home early in the morning. When they say they don't need an alarm clock because of my brother they were joking but were serious, he says "when I hear your brother leave for school I know its time to get up and get ready." They're good people and the way you describe throaty I think I would like that sound. And what are magna packs exactly? I've seen people have that setup but I always thought it was a Magnaflow muffler or something like that.

Magnapacks are just Magnaflow mufflers, it's just their name. Like the XR1 of Borla XR1

Borla is better though lol

They are magnaflow but they are smaller than the oval body mufflers which makes them more aggressive sounding.
