I wasn't born here, but I don't ever plan on leaving, Texan to the bone! My grades were good enough to get the auto-entry, so that was enough for me to know where I was gonna go. I was a bit reckless to not apply to at least one or two others just in case . . . but it all worked out haha.

Was the truck lifted by chance? And was it a 97-03 or 04+? Plastidip is some pretty neat stuff. I did my mirror caps with it just to see how they would look and for something to do, and it actually matched my white truck pretty well! I'll probably not get them professionally painted until I get towing mirrors, but now I don't know if I'll even do that!

Gig 'Em!

I dont believe it was lifted, and was the same year model as mine.

Hmm I don't think I know which truck it was then. I did see an 04-08, an 09+, and a Chevy with that exit all last night though. That is quite true though!

Side exit dual 2.5 inch x-piped. I think I have some of another set up. I'll look for those.

Found a few. This is a old set up that worked great till I went lower and needed clearance for the axle.

Another great looking, clean exhaust option!! From straight on from the rear (as in for the folks in the car behind me), all you can see is about 4" of the tips dumped down. You can't see any of the pipe or anything; looks super clean! It looks much much better in person than these pics elude to…

Galaxy, I don't know if I've ever seen that on a gas burner, that's interesting! I've seen tons of diesels with that set up though

I've always liked dumps/turndowns. Back in my Mustang hot rod days, I always ran dumps right behind the axle; that's where I got the idea from. But yea, guess you're right. I've always liked something different than straight out the back when it comes to pipes. Pretty darn happy with how this turned out.

Oh! I didn't even know it was your truck! But I guess those pics and info are so detailed that it had to be . . . silly me haha. Very nice though. How's it look from behind the truck if I was standing or driving behind it?

Those do look clean! Im definitely wanting mine 45d out of the back though. Unless the guy I go to cant make them look even, then plan b is to dump behind the axle like yours!

Would you happen to have any pics from directly behind your truck with this set up?

I looked every where but cant find on... sorry
The tips were parallel to the ground with angle cut tips that matched the the side of the bed when you looked down from the top.

01 gt f150 - how did the DIDO setup sound? I have the Magnaflow SIDO right now and its nice but I got it when I first got my truck and didn't know much about exhaust then. Do you know the part number for that Magnaflow muffler?

The best way to explain how it sounded is this. When I was next to the wall in the fast lane
and floored it, it sounded like the old school 60's mustangs. Deep mellow note at Idle but when you romped on it, it would make people pay attention...lol
