First 7700 KR!?

I purchased a parts truck (7700) awhile back while I still had my "F250 LD" and was planning on just using the interior and parting it out until I decided I needed more room for the family. I was searching for a supercrew and came up with swapping everything from a 7700 to the screw. I did my research on here about the 4r100 swap which made it fairly easy and let me know it could be done! It took about 2 months of looking for a good screw and I found an 02 King Ranch with a blown trans for dirt cheap! Let me tell you the hardest part of all this was the fact that I had to do it off of jack stands in the driveway!! All you need is the crossmember, driveshafts, trans harness to the firewall, shifter cable, ECM, key and gauges because of the PATS. Now that I have her rolling I'm going to be putting the rear 10.25 diff and leafs in next summer as well as the front brakes and front diff for 3.73s all around! So will this make it the first 7700 KR?

Sounds sweet man!! I always had the idea of making a Screw with 3/4 axles and wondered how hard if would really be. Keep up the work and lets see the pics!!

It sounds like you didn't swap the 7700 frame too? The 7700 frame is stronger and made from thicker gauge metal.

No the frame on my parts truck was fooked! There wasn't any difference that I could see. Both were punched for all the same trans crossmembers along with everything else. I'm also thinking of not using the rear leafs just because I'm going to put bags on. Eventually I will get new rear axles made for the 5 bolt pattern because the 7 bolt rims are not near as nice or easy to find replacements.
