I believe it. I've driven a lot of 2011+ GTs and E92 M3s at my dealership. BMWs sound like crap to me, stock they sound like they've got bees in the tailpipes and they're really shallow and raspy with an exhaust, but their 6 speed is maybe the best I've ever touched, absolute butter. SMGs (their "automatic") on the other hand are one of the worst behaved transmissions for daily driving. The newest ones are a lot better than the older ones, but they're horrendous, but very fast, which is what they're made for

From what you posted it sounds like a decent trade to me. If you can't have both, I say go for the Mustang. Now your gonna miss the truck. But the Mustang is a fun car and you only live once. You can always get another truck later.
