Another shudder issue

Well just had my trans flushed. (4R100). It did have a shudder before the exchange but not bad and very very seldom would it do it. The shudder is still there but like noted above it happens very very seldom. And on under accel and I do believe when going into OD but not 100% on that. I tried applying the brake and giving it gas to see if anything happens and nothing happens the tires just break loose. The trans shifts fine no slipping no slamming into gear. Shifts like butter. What else could it be? Would friction modifier help? Or could it be something else? There is less than 1k on fluid change and COP's and plugs and rear end fluid and modifier. Like I said thought it has only done it about 3-4times within 1k and its not violent at all just a slight vibration. It is really getting on my nerves now and cant seem to figure out what it is.

Sounds to me like you need to ignore it for now. If it is a problem, it will get worse and be easier to diagnose.

What brand plugs and cops did you use? Did you use dielectric grease in the boots?

Autolites are frowned on around here. I've ran them for about 20k mile and had no issues but other board members have had issues with them. Should have just exchanged. I would never flush any transmission breaks stuff loose..
Sounds like a low grade misfire really. You should find a decent scanner that shows live misfire count, see if you can isolate it. If you know anybody with a snap on scanner they do it. Or the dealer could check it for misfires. The charge about$100 to do it.

Sorry I should have justified. It was only a fluid and filter exchange not a flush. Yeah I keep reading about autolites on here also but I never really had any issues with them. I misfire is better than a trans issue. Do you think the scanner would pick up a code even when its not acting up? The reason I ask is a few months back I had a bad COP and a scanner would not pick it up nor would it throw a cel.

I'm sure you have one faulty coil.
A scanner able to look at mode 6, test 53 will show the misfire counts for all 8 cylinders.
One or more will be high.
This fault does not set a code but you feel it in OD at light throttle.
This is why scanners (not readers) are used by those who know how to use them to see the faults.
Good luck.

I will have to see if I can get a scanner, I have a reader (p.o.s). I am hoping for just a COP.
