Ideas for truck mods?
Ideas for truck mods?
Hey everyone, I'm just looking for some advice on what I could do to make my truck look a little more badass. I've got black Harley Davidson/Lightning lights in it, a smoked LED 3rd brake light, tinted windows, smoked tail lights, painted the chrome grille shell to match the truck, custom radio subs, and I want to get some bigger tires. Now here's the catch: I don't want to do too much to it suspension wise, since it is only a 2wd, and I don't have all the money to make it 4x4 or even lift it right now. Maybe down the road. And my dad and I add the fender flares and painted them to match as well. Tell me what you think. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
Small coil spacer lift is cheap. Remove the step bars. Add a 4x4 valence. Paint the top bumper pad also. Taking the bars off will make it look a little taller and the 4x4 valences are more aggressive looking. Maybe PTM the mirror caps.

Thanks for the ideas. I like the valance idea. I've been wanting fog lights on it actually. I forgot to say that I have a 1" leveling kit on the front coils, just to make it sit a little closer to level. It's 1/2" lower in the front than it is in the rear. I may take the step bars off as well and just see what it looks like. The mirror caps pop out I believe from behind the mirror itself, so I'll see what I can do there. Thanks again!
PTM mirror caps and top bumper pad, honey comb grill, 4x4 lower valance, remove he step bars, Fx4 wheels and nice set of all terrain tires

A lot of guys lift them and run some nice rubber.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Yes it's just a Y-pipe with stock cats on it. The Y pipe is right under the front seat of the cab. And then it goes around the spare and out the back with 3.5" tips.
I also forgot to mention I have a 1" leveling kit on the front coil springs. I like the honeycomb grille idea. And my buddy had to get a new front lower valance on his 4x4 cause he hit a stump. He got it from Gipe Auto Color for $44.95 with mounting hardware. Which is a little hard to believe. But it fit like a stock one from Ford. And I looked, and mine has the plugs attached to the frame rails for the fog lights to plug into, all I would need is the interior switch on the headlight switch, and the lights themselves. Both of which are more than likely in tact at a loca junkyard.
